Town deserved a point for their efforts at Ware.
In an evenly contested first half both defences dominated but Ware almost scored early on as a great effort from the left side narrowly went wide.
Home keeper Coulton saved well from a Ben Gallant effort as neither side managed to create any clear cut chance chances.
Two minutes into the second half the Hosts took the lead when some poor marking allowed a cross from the left to reach Bishop at the far post and he easily tapped home.
Town lacked urgency and Ware dominated for a long spell and only some desperate defending, led by the excellent Jordan Jenkins and a couple of great saves by Bradley Kirkwood kept the score down. A fine strike from 20 yards came back off the Town post as the Town mid-field failed to get a hold on the game.
Ben Gallant worked tirelessly alone up front and managed a couple of good efforts near the end. The equaliser came a minute from full-time when a speculative ball into the box was
carefully flicked in by sub Kierron Birch.
It was Town who were finishing the stronger and Lewis McBride just failed to covert after a great run down the right.
Town deserved their point, based on their excellent defending, but Manager Murray needs to get more steel into the mid-field and stop his Players needlessly giving the ball away.
