as Lewis Toomey, Archie McClelland and Leon Lobjoit added more to their impressive season tallies.
Admittedly, the first half was a quiet showing until Lewis Toomey grabbed the opener just before the break. Kyle Connolly floated in a great cross from the right and Lewis Toomey headed home superbly to give Connolly his 39th assist of the season.
In the second half, Archie McClelland made it 0-2 on 62’. Played in down the left side of the box, McClelland opened up his body excellently and found the bottom right with ease.
20 minutes later, substitute Leon Lobjoit looked to join the party. The ball sat up nicely as the striker turned in the box, yet the best he could do was slam the base of the left post. Lobjoit would get on the scoresheet before the end. Right on 90’, he connected with a Kyle Connolly cross and headed home despite a broken eye socket picked up in the previous game. This goal capped some serious numbers - with Connolly’s 40th assist and Lobjoit’s 59th goal of the season.
Now, with the season over - focus turns to collecting more silverware with the cup final on the 2nd of May.
