After 2 weeks without any football, Town returned to action with a home tie against Wembley.

The last time Town played, was the infamous 4-3 win at Eynesbury in the FA Vase, which feels like a life time ago.
This game however, wouldn’t be a classic like the one in Cambridgeshire.
Town started on the front foot, with Conway crossing for Murphy early on, but the latter’s header went just wide.
Other than a few early attacks, for a large portion of the first half, Town couldn’t create any clear cut chances.
Wembley’s 9 was in the book soon after for his 3rd foul of the game.
Then towards the end of the first half, Ashton Campbell couldn’t quite connect to a Webb cross and Towell couldn’t convert a low driven cross at the near post.
Sonny Newbury-Barr was soon after replaced by Jordon Fredericks.
Town had the ball in the back of net just before the interval. Campbell’s powerful strike was saved and turned home by debutant Kieran Turner, but he was adjudged to be offside.
Town came out the traps well in the second half. Campbell, Towell and Turner all had shots saved by the Wembley keeper.
Ben Pattie was introduced into proceedings on the 62nd minute, replacing Martin Conway.
Danny Webb fired over from a corner with a teasing left-footed volley.
Wearing the armband again, Alfie Osborne picked up a booking for a foul.
Shortly after, another yellow came out for Wembley’s 6.
Kieran Turner then had another golden chance, but his shot which was destined for the far corner, was blocked well by a Wembley defender.
Then came the drama of the game. Wembley’s 7 was placed in the SinBin for dissent after a Town attack.
With it 11 vs 10, it then went to 10 vs 9!
Ben Pattie and Wembley’s 2 were sent off, with both for violent conduct, however, supporters were bewildered as to why Pattie was also dismissed.
Alex Condon was replaced by Ross Adams in Town’s final change of the game.
Danny Webb fired into the keepers arms as Town’s continued to apply constant pressure with a one man advantage.
As the game entered stoppage time, Wembley’s 7 was re-introduced after his SinBin, however, it then went to 9 vs 10! Dave Murphy was put into the SinBin, so Town we’re now down a man!
Town were still in control however, but they just couldn’t break down the Wembley rearguard.
So, it was a point-a-piece, with Town unable to score against a team they beat 5-0 just under 3 months ago.
However, Town remain on a run of 16 games unbeaten in all competitions!
Next up is a trip to Potton United on Tuesday in the LCT Quarter Final.
