Disappointingly the ball spent more time in the air than on the ground and the game never really flowed.
Town dominated possession in the first period and came closest when a superb 25 yard strike from Carl Tappin came back off the post with visiting 'keeper Goode stranded. Hadley's best effort came from a well struck free kick from Paul Wright that just went over the bar.
The Visitors had a strong start to the second half and Idimudia should have done better with a close range header. Another Hadley effort went just wide before Hammond almost got the opener for the Visitors.
Town came back stronly in the latter stages and ' super sub ' Bruno Brito went very close with a clever flick which just went over the bar. Matt Hall wasted a free kick chance and Goode made several important saves as the game ended in a draw.
Town are very disappointed with this result as the points dropped now make gaining a promoting spot very difficult.
In the crowd were many Former PLayers of the Club and it was also lovely to see Harry Kirton - Manager of the team which won the Beds Seniort Cup for 3 successive years 1968 - 1970 at the game.
