Returning to league action after FA Trophy duties, Town continued the momentum of their 3-1 win against Kempston and took the lead with 20 minutes gone.

Charlie Pattison was a creative force and he slid in Finlay Brennan. He slammed Leighton forward with a decisive, powerful strike.

Hadley attempted a response, yet Xavi Comas stood down a 1-on-1 well on 29’.

After Leighton missed out on a second on 49’, the complexion of the game changed as Louie Barratt was given his marching orders for some vague dissent. Town defended resolutely thereafter and just scraped by with the one goal deficit - defender Alfie Powell picked up Town's MOTM award.
